PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy policy explains how Prime Boxing Gym collects, uses, stores and reviews personal information submitted through the gym contact desk, trial requests and membership enquiries. Prime Boxing Gym is where strength, skill, and discipline come together. Train with experienced coaches in a motivating, high-energy environment at 1401 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20004, United States. We treat personal information as a coaching and safety tool, not as a marketing list. This document is written for visitors, parents of junior fighters, current members and prospective trial guests who want a clear account of what happens after a form is sent to [email protected] or a call is made to +12026289100.
Who holds the information
Prime Boxing Gym is the operator responsible for personal information collected through this site and at the Pennsylvania Avenue desk. Day-to-day access is limited to authorised desk staff and the coaches who need the details to place a visitor in a safe session. Head coach Marcus Hale reviews placement notes for competitive and beginner rings. Technique specialist Elena Voss reviews footwork and guard requests. Floor notes from Coach Dante Ruiz are seen only where a visitor has asked about pad-station layout or first-session timing. Beginner wrap and stance notes are seen by Coach Priya Shah and the desk operator who confirmed the contact number. Conditioning load notes are reviewed by Coach Jonah Blake. Recovery and mobility notes are reviewed by Riley Quinn. Sparring clearance notes are reviewed by the coach assigned to that block. We do not sell member lists, trial names or email addresses. A member training beside you on a Tuesday night is not given your full membership file.
Information collected
| Data type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Name and email | Used to review and respond to a ring, session or policy request. |
| Optional phone number | Used only when supplied as a preferred reply route or for same-day placement. |
| Request details | Used to understand the relevant ring, coach, injury note or policy question. |
| Technical form fields | Used for submission handling and basic spam reduction. |
How we use the information
The primary use is to answer the request you sent. That may include confirming a beginner trial, explaining hand-wrap rules, or placing you with Coach Marcus Hale or Coach Elena Voss. A secondary use is floor safety. If you mention a shoulder strain, recent concussion concern or a junior fighter's age, the coach needs that note before the warm-up starts. We do not use contact-form details to build advertising profiles, and we do not pass those details to unrelated third parties for their own campaigns. If you later become a paying member, the desk may add the same name and email to a simple attendance record so coaches know who is expected in an eight-week block. That record is used to manage session size, usually twelve to sixteen fighters, and to contact you if a night is cancelled. You can ask us to limit contact to the original request only. We will still keep any note required for a current safety or legal obligation.
Storage and access
Submitted messages are stored for the purpose of reviewing and responding to gym requests. Access is restricted to authorised gym operators. Request records should be removed when they are no longer required for response handling, safety review or applicable legal obligations. In ordinary cases a closed enquiry is kept no longer than twenty-four months. A membership file may be kept for the life of the membership plus a reasonable period after the last session, so we can answer a later question about payment or an incident on the floor. Paper notes taken at reception are stored in a locked desk area and are not left on the public counter beside the ring entrance. Technical form fields used for spam reduction are reviewed only when a submission looks automated. They are not used to score your boxing ability or sparring readiness.
Sharing
We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the gym. That includes a coach who must know a visitor's level before pad work or sparring, a desk operator confirming a trial time, or a professional adviser if we are required to respond to a legal claim. We may also disclose information if United States law requires it. We do not publish photographs of junior fighters or private medical notes on the public site. Adult members who appear in gym photographs are asked before a new image is added. Sanctioning body administrators may receive a bout sheet when a member competes under the gym name.
Browser storage
This site uses essential browser storage to remember whether the cookie notice has been accepted. The cookie policy describes that storage in more detail, including the technical key used by the site script. The contact form also sends hidden technical fields with the request. Those fields help reduce automated spam and are not used to profile your training interests or your preferred session time.
Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about a request you sent, ask us to correct a name or email, or ask us to delete a closed enquiry where we no longer need it. A parent or guardian may make the same request for a junior fighter. We may refuse a deletion request where the record is still required for a safety review, an unpaid membership, a registered bout, or a legal obligation. Those limits will be explained in plain language when we reply.
